Bon, must go - just after midnight here 7 am comes quickly. gf's parents getting RV ready to go to Arizona for the winter. Has done gf's mum and dad a whole lot of good heathwise. They are leaving week of Dec 7th and will take 10 days to get there, set up and come back for twelve days on the 22nd - mum has appointment with specialist on Jan 4th and back to AZ on the 5th on the plane cul Ed.

Hi Sadie,
I went and took a look. Many of the people are from the fansite and I don't know most of their names. Ones you would know from the pub I'll try to tell you.
In picture #9 you can see Del, Leslie's husband with a red "scarf" tied around his head. In picture #14 MarieUrsula is behind and to the side of Susan. In picture #22 newyorkrican and Leslie are to the left behind the Scottish flag. I'm on the right, holding the corner of the Scottish flag and a NYC

In picture #23 newyorkrican has the long red scarf-that's the one Carol knit for her.
Leslie is kind of behind her. In #24 you can see newyorkrican again and Del. The signs that say NYC
♥SB were designed by Leslie. We cut strips of red table cloth plastic to give to people who didn't have a red scarf. All of the reporters were wearing them! LOL!

Today was soooooo awesome. We left Del and Leslie's at 4:30 a.m. and drove into Manhattan. We arrived at the Today Show staging area in Rockefeller Plaza before 6:00. Susan arrived a little after 7:00 and sang Cry Me A River, Wild Horses, and I Dreamed a Dream as a warmup. Then she went back inside until just before 8:30 when she sang for the broadcast. She sang the same three songs for us again. Newyork should have some wonderful pictures and video up on her blog tomorrow.

Newyork was right up front and videotaped the rehearsal singing and the taped singing. I hope she got some of the stuff going on between the songs, too. It was a bit windy, and the hairstylist kept coming over between songs, trying to do something to stop Susan's hair from blowing around! Susan had a red scarf on -all of the fans were wearing red scarves, also. She held both ends and moved the scarf back and forth and said, "Shimmy, shimmy!" So funny!

After the performance, we went to the Rockefeller Cafe and Susan actually joined us for breakfast. The fansite presented her with some gifts, including a beautiful hand-made quilt. Different fans had made squares to represent their states or countries and then they were put together. Susan seemed very emotional about it and asked how long it took to complete. They took us outside and took a group picture of us with Susan. They're going to send all of us a copy of it.

It was such an awesome weekend! Seeing Susan, NYC, meeting new friends and seeing some that I felt like I've know forever, but actually just met for the first time. And seeing a handsome Scottish man in a kilt! As Susan would say, "It was bloody fantastic!"

There is so much to tell you guys, but I am exhausted. I just got home from dropping newyork off, but couldn't go to sleep until I'd checked in. I apologize that we couldn't post more sooner, but we were on the go continuously and when we got back to Del and Leslie at night were usually too tied to post much. Newyork is going to have some wonderful pictures and video on her blog tomorrow! You are going to love it!
